Campion Trail Campion Trail is a master-planned, 22-mile greenbelt along the Elm Fork and West Fork of the Trinity River. The master plan was approved in 1995 and the project was initiated in 1996. There have been incremental expansions of the 12-foot wide concrete primary trail each year.
Small farming communities dotted the rolling prairies and wooded hills between the Elm Fork and the West Fork of the Trinity River during the last half of the 1800s. Settlers had come into the region in the 1850s, and by 1857, Hezekiah Lucas had established a post office at Buck and Breck, a hamlet between Dallas and the Tarrant County town of Birdville. The new town of Irving, founded in 1903 by J.O. Schulze and Otis Brown, eventually swallowed most of the small settlements that had survived past the turn of the century.
Irving progressed rapidly, as the Texas legislature created the Irving Independent School District in 1909 for a student population of about 190. The next year a privately owned telephone service came to town, and Lone Star Gas opened an Irving station in 1911. The fledgling town officially came of age on April 14, 1914, when its citizens voted 27 to 16 to incorporate.

You should work with Carmen over any other agent is based on 5 key strengths that differentiate him from most real estate professionals.First, Carmen will listen carefully to what you’re looking for and help you identify your priorities – what’s a must-have vs. a nice-to-have? He helped us prioritize homes based on (1) our vision for our family, (2) the aesthetic we preferred, and (3) the functionality that matched our lifestyle. My husband and I joked that it was like having a couples therapist, because Carmen really knew us that well and helped us navigate to the right area and the right house.
Second, Carmen will not let you waste time on properties that do not align to those values. He never pushed us to pick a property. In fact, he often told me, “No, we’re not seeing that.
